Barn Owl Centre Outing

These images have been taken during the organised WPS outing to the Barn Owl Centre in Brockworth, near Gloucester on the 6th March 2005. Nine WPS members and two guests attended and we were treated to an excellent day of raptor photography. Vince, the centre director, gave us good guidance and set-ups both inside the centre and in neighbouring fields. Vince is himself a keen photographer and was able to assist us in getting some fine images of various birds of prey both static and in flight.

We can thoroughly recommend this event for photographic enthusiasts and photographic clubs who are keen to experiment with birds of prey photography. The Barn Owl Centre provides you with a warm welcome, lots of activities and mugs of steaming hot coffee (which was very welcome - as it was only about 4 degrees C during our visit!)
