During the Season WPS also won the Fosse Inter-Club Slide Competition. The winning entries were from John Holt, Mike Piper and Harry Hunt. They have to time-share the trophy!! Well Done lads!!

Mike is our long-term Competitions Secretary and puts in a fantastic amount of work behind the scenes to keep our internal and external competitions running, thereby making some our most succesful evenings. He is one of our unsung heros. - Thank you Mike !!!

And the final pictures of the evening - you may have noticed that Joe Brennan hasn't won a single trophy this season - in stark contrast to last season where he almost "swept the board". However the evening of our annual dinner was also Joes 65th birthday and his day of retirement from work. Therefore we decided to make a special presentation to Joe of a Birthday cake. Typical of Joe, he cut it up and shared it amongst the members.... We all wish you a long, happy and successful retirement - and better luck next year!!
